About Me

Hi, My name is Gary. I'm a self employed alloy wheel refurbisher by trade and a pen creator and maker by passion. 

Everything I make is handmade on a lathe in my own workshop. This allows me to have complete control of how the final pen turns out. It is also my place of tranquility and space to de-stress after a hard day and week at work.

I started out exploring woodworking some 10 years ago. Making items of furniture, chopping boards, bowls and chess sets. I even made a xylophone! My house is cluttered with my candlesticks and fragrance diffusers which thankfully my wife loves. And every Christmas there are the Tree decorations new and old.

Then one day in the spring of 2025 I made my first Pen......I was hooked.

I have been honing my craft over the last year.  Exploring different materials such as exotic hardwoods such as Sapele and Wenge and locally sourced hardwoods. Also, resins and acrylic as well as Ebonite. Developing my skills to design, turn and finish these materials to get the best from them in producing one of a kind pens

Now that I am confident in my craftsmanship, I have opened my Online store to share them with the world.

My dream is to one day turn my passion for pen making into something I can do full time.
